Just like in the base game, Sunflowers (or their modded equivalent) are the backbone of your strategy. Place at least two full rows before investing in heavy attackers.
2. Learn the New Plant Roles
Don’t assume plants behave exactly like in the original. For example, the Monkey King might fire stronger projectiles but cost more sun. Always read the descriptions before using them.
3. Expect Trickier Zombies
Some modded zombies can dodge, fly, or shield themselves. Try mixing cheap attackers with explosive plants (like Cherry Bomb equivalents) to handle sudden waves.
4. Save Your Plant Food (if available)
In some versions of the mod, plants have special abilities when boosted. Use these only in emergencies, like when a boss spawns.
5. Boss Strategy
When facing bosses like the Ox Demon King, focus on both offense and defense. Place durable defenders upfront and stack multiple shooters behind. Save bombs for when the boss summons reinforcements.
